Tyler Furey wears a lot of hats at Banner Environmental, and he wears them well. He’s a key player across project management, estimating, operations, and compliance. From managing large-scale asbestos abatement and demolition jobs across New England to building financial logs and tracking change orders, Tyler’s ability to balance logistics, deadlines, and documentation helps keep Banner projects moving forward. He bridges teams and departments, aligns with regulations, and maintains a clear focus on safety, compliance, and execution.
For Tyler, it’s the complexity of demolition — especially when it overlaps with abatement — that makes this industry so rewarding. He thrives in the problem-solving moments: sequencing crews, adapting to field conditions, and finding solutions when timelines tighten. Whether he’s submitting a change order, responding to a consultant, or jumping in to rearrange a labor schedule, Tyler brings experience and precision to every project. He credits his early start in the industry at age 16 — working alongside his brother — as the foundation for his deep understanding of both fieldwork and project strategy.
Outside of Banner, Tyler is just as multifaceted. He holds a degree in criminal justice, played college football, and co-owns a pressure washing business with his brother. He’s passionate about travel (especially anywhere with sand and sea), values time with family and friends, and keeps a bucket list full of skydiving, flying lessons, and Caribbean island-hopping. When asked what he appreciates most about Banner, it’s the culture of support and teamwork that stands out — the kind that turns a job into a community.
